CLEARWATER, Fla., September 1, 2026 roommaster, the cloud-native hotel platform trusted by thousands of independent hotels for more than 30 years, will reveal its reimagined experience at Independent Hotel Show Miami 2026, September 16 to 17 at the Miami Beach Convention Center. The company exhibits at Booth 419 and presents a session on guest value on Wednesday.

Thirty Years, Rebuilt

Anyone can design a hotel platform. Far fewer can design one that already knows what a Tuesday in February looks like at a 60-room independent.

That is the difference roommaster is bringing to Miami. Three decades inside independent hotels taught the company exactly where the friction sits: the screens a front desk lives in all day, the distance between a phone ringing and a confirmed reservation, the numbers a GM checks before the morning meeting. The reimagined roommaster experience is that knowledge, rebuilt from the ground up as a modern cloud platform.

It will be running live at Booth 419 for both days of the show.

What Is Every Guest Really Worth?

On Wednesday, September 16, from 12:00 to 12:30 p.m. in the Business Center, Steve Burman presents What Is Every Guest Really Worth? Unlocking Revenue Beyond the Room Rate.

Most independent properties cannot answer the question on the spot. A guest books a $300 room, so the guest was worth $300. Except once acquisition cost, direct booking share, on-property spend, and the likelihood of a return visit are accounted for, the number looks very different. Usually larger.

The 30-minute session makes the case for Revenue Per Available Guest (RevPAG) as a practical measure, using real property scenarios rather than theory, and shows where independent hotels most often leave value behind across the guest journey.

Attend

Independent hoteliers can register at no cost using code ROOM26, and can book a personalized demo ahead of the show or visit Booth 419 in person.
